چکیده

Axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA), psoriatic arthritis (PsA), psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and noninfectious uveitis form a distinct group among the immune mediated diseases. Thus, many patients suffer from more than one of these manifestations. Here, we will use term spondylitis-psoriasis-enthesitis-enterocolitis-dactylitis-uveitis-peripheral synovitis (SPEED-UP) spectrum disease. The aim is to review new targeted pharmacological treatment options for all All biological or synthetic drugs with U.S. Food Drug Administration (FDA) European Medicines Agency (EMA) approval any diagnoses axSpA, PsA, IBD, non-infectious were included. Some have documented efficacy in diseases, e.g. tumor necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitors. However, other are particularly effective specific inflamed tissue approved only two entities, abatacept peripheral vedolizumab This contributes bedside bench understanding immunology underlying this provides clinicians an overview that can assist stratified decisions. We hope help guide speed up spectrum.

Clinical and imaging assessment of peripheral enthesitis in ankylosing spondylitis

In primary ankylosing spondylitis (AS) the frequency of peripheral enthesitis has been found to be between 25 and 58% [1], however, the real prevalence of this feature depends on the type of assessment (i.e., clinical, imaging or histological). Peripheral enthesitis can be revealed by clinical findings, such as localized pain, tenderness and swelling, but there are no definite clinical criteria...

Prevalence of peripheral and extra-articular disease in ankylosing spondylitis versus non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis: a meta-analysis

BACKGROUND Peripheral disease (arthritis, enthesitis and dactylitis) and extra-articular disease (uveitis, psoriasis and inflammatory bowel disease) is common in ankylosing spondylitis (AS) and non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis (nr-axSpA). So far, however, summary data on the prevalence are lacking. The objective of this meta-analysis was to assess the prevalence of peripheral and extra-...

Knee enthesitis and synovitis on magnetic resonance imaging in patients with psoriasis without arthritic symptoms.

OBJECTIVE This case-control study was designed to evaluate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings of knee joints in patients with psoriasis without clinical peripheral or axial joint involvement, and to correlate MRI findings with disease and demographic variables. METHODS In total 48 patients with psoriasis and no clinical evidence of synovitis or enthesitis in any peripheral or axial joi...

Imaging of psoriatic arthritis.

Imaging of psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is important for two reasons: the differential diagnosis from other arthritides and the assessment of structural damage that can be inhibited by the new drugs such as the anti-TNFalpha agents. Plain film radiographic findings of peripheral arthritis have been important in elaborating the concept of PsA as a separate disease entity. Characteristic aspects of ...

Magnetic resonance imaging in psoriatic arthritis: a review of the literature

Psoriatic arthritis is a diverse condition that may be characterized by peripheral inflammatory arthritis, axial involvement, dactylitis and enthesitis. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) allows visualization of soft tissue, articular and entheseal lesions, and provides a unique picture of the disease process that cannot be gained using other imaging modalities. This review focuses on the literat...
